Where Have I Been??

Dear Blog,

I am so sorry that you have been neglected for the past few months. I feel I must explain but I am not sure where to begin.

Lets start with the best news I can possibly offer you, WE HAVE STOCK!! There were some hiccups in getting Wean Cubes into our warm, comfortable warehouse. I am happy to report that they arrived safe and sound and and they helped me make some fantastic friends along the way!

And of course, I packed my bags and left the nest in search of warmer weather! I found some great beaches (which are unheard of in my neck of the woods). I got comfortable and even read a book!! Thankfully (for you) my husband is a strapping young lad and was able to carry me kicking and screaming all the way back to work.

It was all fun and games at work until I broke my finger in the back of a semi truck one hot summer day! Don’t worry, I won’t post pictures.  If it was my pinky finger I promise I wouldn’t even complain but it wasn’t, it was the one used most often for driving in Calgary AND more importantly typing!! What would you be with out all the letters above k??

So please understand that I did miss you and that I am looking forward to putting up our recipe & flavor of the week next week and I promise you will love it! I sure hope people remembered to feed their babies:)

Thank you for being so patient.

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the wonderful world of real eatste! That’s a great question for you to ask your RE Teacher. Also, are you planning on working with a large re company or an independent? My suggestion is start off with a business plan. Notify your sphere of influence .tell your family, friends, neighbors, so they will tell their family, friends, neighbors, etc., send out announcement cards, then follow up with phone calls to your sphere. Word of mouth is the best advertising and it’s free. Try to get a listing so you can meet buyers. If you can’t get a listing soon, offer to do as many open houses for other agents as you can. Get out there and network. Go after expireds and fsbo’s. Have many things going on at a time because wasting time means there’s a gap between paychecks. I have quite a few active buyers right now, some I have just recently met and others I have been showing properties to for the past 4 to 5 months and some longer. Anyway, typically, 45 days to closing and then you get paid. Good Luck .any questions, feel free to email!
