Okay, my delinquency in posts has led the ‘Flavor of the Week’ to be the ‘Flavor of the Year’;)

I was introduced to Seventh Generation nearly 3 years ago when my youngest weaner was born. She had some bladder/kidney problems and the ‘traditional’ diapering options seemed to be adding to the bacterial problems! I was chatting with one of the amazing workers at a local organic grocer about the problems and she pulled out the Seventh Generation wipes. My weaner had been so prone to diaper rashes because of her kidney problems that I would bathe her after every diaper change just to avoid having to use wipes on her sensitive behind. After 2 days of using Seventh Generation wipes I never saw another diaper rash on her again! Miracle? Nope, Seventh Gen had claimed that “these gentle wipes clean baby’s bottom with plant-derived ingredients; no alcohol, synthetic cleaners, dyes or fragrances. Whitened without chemicals containing chlorine, these soft cloth wipes are a safe and soft choice to keep your baby’s skin pure and clean” AND they weren’t lying!!

After all of this you can imagine that my logical next step was to start using their diapers too! Of course their diapers are free of chlorine, fragrances, latex and petroleum-based lotions. I just can’t wrap my brain around the decision to add these things to something that hugs are sensitive little babies every minute of every day for at least the first year of their life! Seventh Generation saved not only my weaner’s bum but also her kidneys! We found out after that if we would have subjected her to the ‘other’ name brand diapers she would have had more serious kidney damage that wouldn’t have been as easily resolved with her surgery because the bacterial growth would have created far more scarring on her kidneys. Yes, I really love Seventh Generation

And so when I saw this awesome company’s prize pack on the 10 000 kids online auction I knew I had to win it! HUGE thank you to Seventh Generation for donating a beautiful prize pack! I will only use Seventh Generation cleaning products for the rest of my life! Thanks for caring about our health and the environment. Three cheers for 7th Gen!
