Flavor of the Week-This Little Piggy’s House!!

Still looking for the PERFECT Christmas gift?? I am in LOVE with This Little Piggy’s House Cardboard Playhouses! These houses are the perfect size for your busy toddler.  You can get them in colorable white, brown kraft or even have them hand painted by a Californian artist! My little artists will be coloring the white house on Christmas day! Or if you are really creative see if you can make a gingerbread house like the one pictured above!! “Playhouse walls are constructed with 275 pound corrugated cardboard to withstand huffs and puffs from big bad wolves” and are made with recycled materials in California!! These beautiful playhouses were designed by an Architect dad who saw a need for eco friendly toys and filled it! Calgary friends, you can see one of these beauties set up on display at Monkey Shines Books in Marda Loop! Flavor of the Week-Kidsonroof Recycled Cardboard Playhouse

Doesn’t it always make you laugh (or maybe even cry) when you purchase that really large toy for your child and drag it all the way home only to have them push the toy aside and play with the box it came in!? I think this company is absolutely genius and love what they have done with recycled cardboard! Kidsonroof is a Dutch company that has a fantastic line of toys made of recycled cardboard that the weaners can build (and even color!) As a master cardboard house builder I feel very confident to recommend this product to all mamas and daddies our there that are looking for something cool, creative and fun for their toy rooms!! As cool as the designs are the coolest part of this company is that 5% of their profits are donated to Unicef! That just means you should spend even more:) In Calgary I have seen Kidsonroof Recycled Cardboard Playhouses at Edamame Kids. (They actually have one set up so that your weaners have something to do while you joyously check out the selection!) Normally I only have a flavor of the week BUT because Kidsonroof is so awesome I have to throw in a couple more of their products! Are you a little tired of using plastic building blocks that have been covered in dyes? Kidsonroof has designed some really neat building cards that are sold with 120 in a pack. With that many in a pack you can build your own playhouse! These awesome building cards can be purchased at Modern Kid. I used to have paper dolls and I LOVED them for about a day until the little tabs fell off and their heads were too loose to stay upright. This updated version of paper dolls is amazing! Kidsonroof is known for their durable products and these totem figurines are no exception. They are printed on one side and the other side is left blank so that your child can show off some of their wicked art talents! You can find this set at Fawn & Forest!
