Ingredients
  • 1 parsnippeeled and cut into chunks
Instructions
  1. Place a steamer basket in a pot and ad enough water to just touch the bottom of the steamer basket.
  2. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil over high heat.
  3. Add the parsnip, turn the heat down to medium, and loosely cover the pot.
  4. Steam for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the parsnips are very soft. Allow to cool slightly
  5. This consistency might be perfect for you weaner, or you can puree in a food processor, adding breast milk or water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
