Even after being a mama for over 16 years I still can not function in the mornings so I need to make sure I do a little prep before hand.

I LOVE these little Oatmeal Bites for quick & easy nutritious breakfasts. I make the base and then experiment with our favourite flavours.

I have added the base and a few of our faves below-the flavoured ingredients listed are made for the entire batch, if you are going to make a few flavours just divide the flavoured ingredients. This is like one of those ‘choose your adventure’ books from when I was a kid;)

These freeze great. They store in the freezer for 3 months and can last in the fridge if sealed in your Wean Green for the school/work week!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. I use a silicone mini muffin pan, if using metal please grease.
  2. Mix the milk, egg, oil, maple syrup, vanilla flaxseed, baking powder, salt & cinnamon together in a large bowl until mixed well. Fold in the oats.
  3. Choose your flavours and mix into the base.
  4. Spoon mixture into muffin pan and press.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are brown and pull from the sides.
  6. Store in a Wean Green! Eat & Enjoy your mornings a little bit more.
